What do Medical Venturers and Rovers do?

Medical Venturers and Rovers are passionate youth leaders who combine a love for Scouting, community service, and first aid. As part of Scouts Canada, they work as a team to build real-world experience while making a positive impact. Here’s what they’re all about:

  • Gain Hands-On First Aid Experience
Members work together to learn and apply life-saving skills through certified training and real event support.
  • Support Scouting & Community Events
From large camps to local festivals, they provide essential First Aid coverage, keeping everyone safe while staying actively involved.
  • March Proudly in Parades
Representing Scouts Canada, they participate in community parades and ceremonies with pride and professionalism.
  • Promote Scouting Through Public Outreach
Whether it’s hosting booths or assisting with demonstrations, they help spread awareness of Scouting and First Aid in the community.
  • Mentor Future Professionals
Members support and inspire youth exploring healthcare and emergency services as potential career paths.
  • Embrace the Outdoors
Whenever possible, they take their training and activities outside, enjoying nature while honing practical skills.
  • Support Younger Sections
By helping Beavers, Cubs, and Scouts earn First Aid-related badges, they pass on knowledge and inspire confidence in younger members.

And Most of All—Have Fun!
Every activity is built on teamwork, adventure, and friendship. It’s a space to grow, give back, and enjoy the journey.
